I should be packing...

This is the dress I wore to the party that crippled me on Saturday evening. I picked it up in TK Maxx that day because I couldn't decide what to wear from my existing wardrobe - any excuse to buy a new dress and I will. It's got loads of lovely detailing - ruffles on the front and back, a cut-out bit and buttons too but they are under the jacket - I'll take a picture of them at some point. The blazer I stole from my Nan and was from Marks and Spencer about a million years ago when everything was St Michaels.

I haven't been able to part with my Leeds Festival band just yet, so I've been teaming it with these two bracelets - the faux pearls with lock and key charms was a present and the peace sign one from Stolen Thunder - to jazz it up slightly.

I still need to pack for New York but I'm racking my brains to see what will go with a support bandage - not a lot so far. I'm just going to have to wear flats all holiday too. Worst timing ever!

Edit: It's 06:18AM so I've run out of time to do a new post - I have to leave in about ten minutes. I'm trying to shove some bran flakes down my throat and book All American Rejects tickets. See you next week!

The Alphabet tights are really good quality and definitely won't ladder straight away!

  4. Gorgeous gorgeous! If the bandage is relatively slim, you could maybe get away with tights or socks of some sort on top? Although I think it is still pretty hot in New York.

  7. Beautiful pictures! You look lovely :)
And I totally used to do that with my bracelets as well! I still have an orange glow-stick bracelet I got at camp that I still wear sometimes (I'm wearing it actually in my latest post!!)
ok, so NY. Well, you have to go to the top of the empire state building, the view is heavenly. And a stroll through Central Park is a must although it would take you all day to walk the entire thing -I think you can find maps for it online and at certain spots through the park. Um, you should visit some museums there's always The Met, MoMA, and the Guggenheim. Be sure to spend some time just hanging out in Times Square and 5th Avenue. 5th has some great high-end shopping including Saks Fifth Avenue which was like the highlight of my trip! I've heard the Topshop is really awesome but being from Europe it would probably be nothing special to you.
I also found these links. the first is just general things to do in NY-
